An opportunity for me to answer any questions you may have.
Phone & Email Support
Once you decide we are a good match I offer phone, text, and email support. When you are 38 weeks I go on-call and will be available 24/7.
2 Prenatal Visits
During our visits we will discuss:
-
birth affirmations
-
birth plan assistance and information on common practices
-
dietary and exercise recommendations
-
coping mechanisms (physical and emotional) to use during pregnancy and labor
-
birthing positions and stages of labor
-
resources available to you
-
and anything else you might want more information about!
During labor
I will arrive no more than 1 1/2 hours after I am notified that you are in labor and will stay until after your baby is born.

As a Doula, I Do Not:
-
Perform any clinical tasks
-
Make decisions for you

Speak to the staff on your behalf

Project any of my own beliefs on your experience

Breastfeeding Support
I will stay 1-2 hours after your baby is born to assist with the first feeding. After that I am available for assistance if needed. If I can't help you I know who to get you in contact with that can!
Postpartum Visit
No more than 2 weeks after the birth of your baby I will come to your home for a 1-2 hr postpartum visit. I will be available to help with anything from breastfeeding support, navigating or processing the events of your birth, light housekeeping, holding your baby so you can nap, and preparing herbal baths!
