My husband was very hesitant about hiring a doula, but after meeting Erin he immediately said, “She’s hired!” Since this was our first child, we were clueless. All I knew was I wanted as natural of a hospital birth that I could have. Erin helped me create a birth plan, and she was also there when bits of the plan hit the fan. She empowered both my husband and me. She taught us so much! She taught us different techniques to help ease discomfort towards the end of pregnancy. She taught us how to be confident in the delivery room and ask questions. She also reminded me to breath and relax when all I wanted to do was scream and tense up. "I met Erin through a mutual friend who raved about her services as a doula. I called her the very next day because I needed questions answered. We met the day after that, and she went above and beyond answering my questions. Erin is extremely knowledgeable about labor and delivery as well as post partum and everything in between.
She’s always been readily available to help me and make sure my mental and physical health were the best they could be. She is an advocate for pregnant women and can be your voice of reasoning in a season where pregnant women and young mothers hear so many different opinions. I trusted her with the birth of my first child, and I am sure hoping she is still around for the next one (or four😊).
Erin has also become a friend that I enjoy spending time with (and her three cool kiddos), and I’m thankful for her friendship and being able to text/call her to ask advice as a new, first time mom. She will listen, understand, not judge, and provide wonderful, individualized services for you. You’re only pregnant once with each child, and I didn’t want to risk not feeling fully prepared during labor and as a mom."
